1. Age Verification & Legal Requirements
By purchasing from NZ Air Rifle, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age (or 16 years of age holding a valid New Zealand Firearms Licence).
- Mail-Order Sales: In accordance with NZ llaw, the delivery of air rifles and restricted components requires a completed NZ Police Section 43A Mail-Order Form.
- Orders will be held until this verified paperwork is received. Failure or refusal to provide this legal documentation will result in order cancellation and is subject to our standard cancellation fees (see Section 6).
2. Pricing and Product Listings
All prices displayed on our website are listed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include 15% GST. We reserve the right to amend pricing, correct typographical errors, or update product descriptions at any time without prior notice.
3. Payment
Payment in full must be cleared prior to the dispatch of any goods. For "Special Order" items or products not currently held in stock, NZ Air Rifle requires a deposit or pre-payment in full before ordering the stock from our suppliers.
4. Shipping and Delivery
To maintain secure operations, NZ Air Rifle operates as a strictly online retail store. Physical order pick-ups are not available under any circumstances.
- Goods will be delivered via courier to the exact shipping address provided at checkout.
- Our standard fulfillment obligation is completed upon shipping the package to your stated address and providing a valid tracking number.
- Standard delivery does not require a signature unless you explicitly instruct us otherwise prior to dispatch.
5. Warranty and Transit Damage
All goods are warranted to be free from defective workmanship and materials, provided the product has not been modified, altered, or misused.
- Transit Damage: Inspect package thoroughly upon arrival. Any transit damage or missing items must be reported to NZ Air Rifle within 24 hours of delivery.
- For valid warranty or damaged goods claims, NZ Air Rifle will meet our obligations under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA).
6. Change of Mind & Order Cancellations
We ask that you choose your products carefully before completing check-out. If you request a return, exchange, or cancellation because you ordered the incorrect item, changed your mind, or choose not to complete the required NZ Police mail-order paperwork, the following terms apply:
- Returns are subject to strict approval by NZ Air Rifle.
- Items and their original packaging must be returned in a pristine, resaleable condition alongside a copy of your invoice.
- A 15% restocking and administration fee will be deducted from your refund.
- Outgoing and return freight charges are strictly non-refundable.
- Original payment processing fees (such as Stripe merchant fees) are non-refundable and will be deducted from the total balance.
7. Alterations to Terms
NZ Air Rifle reserves the right to amend, update, or entirely replace these terms and conditions at any time without notice. The publishing of updated terms on this webpage constitutes immediate notice to all buyers.
